It was fantastic to see Shropshire Hockey represented across the National County Championships, with three teams getting valuable experience on the national stage.
The Under 17 Boys made an excellent start, securing an impressive 5–0 victory over Essex on Day 1. A brilliant performance from a talented young squad.
The Under 15 Boys were the youngest team in their competition, making the championships a fantastic opportunity to learn, develop and experience playing against some of the best county sides in the country. Plenty of valuable lessons to take forward.
And the Under 17 Girls thoroughly enjoyed the experience, capping off their day with an excellent 3–0 win over Lancashire. 👏
It's great to see young players getting the opportunity to represent their county, compete at this level and, most importantly, enjoy their hockey while continuing to develop.
Well done to all the players, coaches and everyone involved in making the championships such a positive experience for Shropshire. 💪🏑
